Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Casablanca

You will be greeted upon your arrival at Mohammad V airport in Casablanca and will be escorted to your hotel. Our representative will provide a brief review of your tour 13 days Morocco imperial cities tour from Casablanca. Overnight with dinner in Casablanca

Day 2

Casablanca to Rabat

After breakfast drive to visit one of the best highlights of Casablanca the Hassan II mosque and departure to the Imperial city of Rabat, the administrative capital of the Kingdom. Visit Méchouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Oudayas Kasbah, the magnificent Mausoleum Mohamed V, and the Hassan II.

Day 3

Rabat to Fes

After breakfast visit Rabat Zoo and departure towards the Romains Ruins, Volubilis was a Roman settlement, located close to Meknes and 4 kilometers from the Islamic city of Moulay Idriss, dating from the 3rd century. Volubilis was a central administrative city for this part of Roman Africa, responsible for grain production and exports to Rome. It was also responsible for contact with Berber tribes who were never suppressed but cooperated for mutual benefit and then we continue to Meknes. Visit of the Medina, surrounded also by ramparts. Visit the Jewish quarter. Then we drive to Fez. Accommodation at the hotel/Riad in Fes. this will be the third day of your 13 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca.

Day 4

Exploring Fes Sightseeing

This will be the fourth day in one of the amazing imperial cities of Morocco. Today We will dedicate a whole day to visiting the spiritual and cultural capital of the kingdom. You will have the chance of seeing the religious, artistic, and intellectual center of Morocco. Also, you will take a route through the most ancient Medina, the Medersas of Cherratine and of El-Attarine (construction dedicated to religious studies and profusely decorated in Arabic style), the Karaouiynes University, and the Fountain of Nejjarine. After lunch, we will visit the souks differentiated by the different handicrafts, such as, for instance, the famous districts of the tanners or the Mechouar of the Royal Palace. Night in hotel.

Day 5

Fes – Cedar forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Today is the highly recommended part of your tours in Morocco, the Sahara Desert. We will leave Fez after breakfast. We will cross the Middle Atlas through the village of Ifran, known as the Switzerland of Africa due to its combination of western architecture with cedar forests. We will stop to see the monkeys that live in the region of Azrou and Midelt. Then we will arrive at Ziz Valley and go to the palm grove of Tafilalet. We will continue our route towards the famous dunes of Erg Chebbi (the great sand) in Merzouga. Arrival and afterward ride on dromedaries, we will go towards the dunes to see the sunset and sleep in the wild oases located 2 km away, in the middle of the desert. You will spend the night under the stars in a Berber camp

Day 6

Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After an early sunrise camel ride, meet your guide in Merzouga. Today the drive will feature one beautiful scene after another including the stunning oasis of Tinghir where you will be able to take a walk along the Todgha riverbank visiting Berber villages and learning about the lifestyle of the local inhabitants before you visit the magnificent Todgha Canyons and have lunch on the spot.

In the afternoon, drive along the Kasbah road to Dades Valley where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the fortified Kasbahs before you arrive in your boutique guest house in Dades Valley.

Day 7

Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, we drive to Dades Valley, Berber village known for its towering gorges and views of the Atlas. We will cross the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses to Ouarzazate, where we will take the road through the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and the scene of major motion pictures such as Oscar-winning “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Sheltering Sky” or “Babel. Day 8

Ait ben Haddou – Tichka Pass – Marrakech

We will depart after having breakfast at the High Atlas range towards Marrakech. We will arrive in the “Red City” at about 1 pm. You will have a free program to discover medina by yourself.

Day 9

Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

In the morning we will visit the medina of Marrakech and some more interesting places, such as the Saadian Tombs, the museum of Marrakech, the Madrassa, the Bahia and Badia Palaces, and the Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon, we will visit the square of Djemaa el Fna. This is the best time to go as, in the afternoon, the square is filled with jugglers, story-tellers, fortune-tellers, tooth-pullers, dancers, juice salesmen, and snake charmers among other picturesque characters. As the night falls, small food stands begin to be set up with outdoor illumination. Here, you will be able of trying a bite of the most typical and traditional local food. Overnight in Hotel/riad.

Day 10

Marrakech Day Trip to Imlil High Atlas

Atlas mountains and Imlil day trip are one of the most spectacular day trips from Marrakech, We will start our Imlil day trip at 09 am from Marrakech by a 4WD vehicle or minivan for 2 hours drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, and the Berber village of Asni very popular for its weekly market every Saturday then to Imlil Crossing a vibrantly green valley that stays fresh and lush even during the hottest days of the summer. Imlil is a small village at the foothills of the highest mountains in Morocco Toubkal mountain. Imlil is the center to hire mountain guides and mules due to its unique position and its connection to several Berber villages and a very popular start point of treks and hikes for climbing Toubkal mountain. Arrival to Imlil here we shall leave our vehicle to take mules for around 40 minutes towards the south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (1843m) set in the upper-level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, the main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions to get our lunch which will be served in a Berber house in the village of Tamatert. Afterward, you can take a short walk before we return to Marrakech

Day 11

Marrakech to Essaouira

After breakfast, we make our way across the stunning landscapes of the R207 route to the coast. Along the way, we shall stop to see the argan trees where small goats clamber up the low branches and feed. Sometimes there are as many as 20 goats sitting up in one tree. It is a fascinating sight and an absolute must when it comes to getting a photo opportunity. Also along the way, we will stop off at a women’s cooperative where argan oil is produced. The oil is extracted from the kernels of the tree and is a delicious accompaniment to a Moroccan bread meal or simply for drizzling over a pitta bread. The oil is also used as a beauty product for skin and hair treatment. We arrive in the resort and port city where you’ll see the vast expanse of the North Atlantic Ocean. The vibrant old town (medina) is a world heritage site, and it won’t take you much to realize just why. Day 12

Essaouira – Safi – Casablanca

From Essaouira, and after your breakfast you will towards Casablanca, You will pass from several coastal cities to reach Casablanca, About a hundred kilometers from Essaouira, you will be able to visit the city of Asafi for a short time and continue your journey to the city of El Jadida for a short stroll in the old Portuguese city: You will discover its ramparts, the Portuguese citadel, and its impressive cistern. After an hour drive to arrive in Casablanca in the evening. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 13

Departure – Casablanca airport Transfer
