3-Day Marrakech Desert Tour to Merzouga
· Departure from Marrakech across the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. · Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (Game of Thrones & Gladiator filming location). · Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco”. · Drive through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses. · Overnight in a riad/hotel in the Dades Valley.
Breakfast and departure towards the Todra Gorge, famous for its dramatic cliffs. Continue through Berber villages to reach Erfoud and then Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. Traditional dinner and overnight in a desert camp under the stars (luxury or standard).
Early morning camel ride to witness the sunrise over the dunes. Breakfast in camp, then return to Marrakech via Alnif, Agdz, and the Draa Valley. Cross the Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech in the evening.
