5 Day Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour | Private Morocco Sahara Trip
Departure from Fes via the Middle Atlas. Stop in Ifrane (known as “Little Switzerland”). Visit cedar forest in Azrou to see Barbary apes. Continue to Midelt. Overnight in Midelt.
Drive through Ziz Valley with panoramic views of palm groves. Arrival in Merzouga desert. Camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
4×4 tour around Erg Chebbi dunes. Visit nomadic families and Khamlia village (Gnawa music). Sunset camel trek in the dunes. Overnight in desert camp or hotel in Merzouga.
Depart Merzouga and drive to Tinghir. Explore the spectacular Todra Gorge with its high cliffs. Continue to Dades Valley for an overnight stay.
Scenic drive through Rose Valley to Ouarzazate. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.
